Birthday Drawing

This is the wonderful birthday drawing I won from the sweet Natalea at kandeland. I entered her birthday drawing for October and she send me all these gorgeous goodies. All in my favorite color too, PINK. Thank
you so much Natalea, I am so glad I entered. She has a really fun blog that I love to visit and a ESTY shop that I love to  shop at. She even decorated the postal package with a sweet old fashioned postcard label. I love it! She is very talented artist be sure and check it out. Thank you again Natalea for giving me such

My birthday wish

Today I will be 45 years old. Wow! Time has gone by fast, today I am going to lunch with my sister and
mom.  Yesterday my lovely friend Carol took me to breakfast and we had a long needed visit, it was so
nice to sit and share.

Everyone in my family knows that I love cherry chip cake, yum yum, my lovely sister Rene made one
specially for the occasion. My son and daughter are coming home from college so it will be a special
weekend. I am so blessed to have all my family around and have such wonderful children and husband.
Thank you all for making my life so rich and full. And thank you Rene' for my favorite cherry cake!

Oh, I almost forgot, my birthday wish would be....................spending the day at the beach!

Jingadelas!

Jingadelas! This is a Portuguese word we have to describe stuff,

little knickknacks. My mom has tons of them, so does my sister Rene'

and so do I. I love  them little trinkets and treasure. Some past down,

some newly found, some castaway by others brought home to be treasured.

Sometimes I get tired and think oh, to dust these I should get rid of some

downsize, but somehow that is never possible , for me. I begin to pick them

up a gaze at them and they speak to me, sometimes little flaws, how did this

happen, but your still here! We make it through and persevere, some a little

dinged up, cracked or chipped. We are still here! Sometimes what seems most

fragile turns out to stand the test of time and turns out to be our greatest treasure...........
