This past year has seem to pass by at an amazing speed, looking back I have so
much to be thankful for and much to look forward to. Many changes have come to our family and home, Children growing, some leaving, moving on to
new adventures in their lives, and still little ones to keep us busy and young.
I feel so blessed to have ventured into this wonderful blogging world meeting
many new friends, and such talented, caring and creative souls, so its with much anticipation and excitement I look forward to what the New Year  holds.
We are in the process of setting up are new online business, and that too is so
exciting and a dream come true...........May all year dreams, wishes and hopes for the next year be fullfilled with much, peace, joy and happiness from

Packages, basketfuls of............

I made a quick run to the post office to mail an order, and stopped by the little thrift store on the way home.......To my surprise look what was awaiting me when I returned, oh my more Nancy Ann's awaiting
repairs, I can't wait to restore them to their former glory.........................................................

This was my thrift store treasure of the day this wonderful old flower basket for 50 cents, I have a collection of these old floral basket and can't pass one up,  see.....................................................

A Christmas vignette, an old brush tree and shells find a home sitting on the back of piano ..................

They even adorn and bright up my work room, which needs alot of work to be called a work room, more of

a storage room until I get everything organized......................................................................

It will be nice when I get it done, I have  a lot of storage now, my husband installed some old kitchen cabinets along one wall for organizing things, I just need a counter top now.

Here's another holding some pretty velvet pink and burgundy poinsettias for the holidays.......................

And sweet Mac Kenzie she wouldn't cooperate for the group picture, she is the youngest, almost 2 in a couple of days........................................................................................................

Savoring the sweetness of the Rose...................

Roses, some of my most favorite things, I picked these out in my yard. It has been so bitterly cold lately, I
wonder how they survived the harsh weather? Still upholding their delicate beauty, and vibrant color.

Winter has just begun here and I can't wait till spring! I know I don't like the cold weather. I will be staying in a lot ,drinking hot tea,by the fire, and putting my feet up, (wild rose needlepoint) on a beautiful little stool something like this one............................................................................................

Even after the roses have faded and their fragrance no longer lingers, we can still enjoyed their beauty captured in the eye and hand of a talented artist who so lovingly shares the gift of painting with us.........

I wish I could paint like this, wow!

I think this is one of the most gorgeous teapots I have ever seen! How would you like to have a cup of tea poured from this vessel? Shear heaven to me, to sit and sip in wonderful company shared with a friend, chatting and enjoying the beauty of the Rose.........................................................................

Well, even if you don't have a fancy teapot like this, still pour yourself a cup of tea and invite over a friend

Pinkie's Wish List

While out shopping at my favorite Antique Store Eighth and Main, I found a few things, well maybe more than a few that I wish Santa would bring me........... We'll see. I am remodeling my bathroom right now,
and its pretty deconstructed, we have old plaster and my husband re sheet rocked it and is putting up wainscoting for me. I have picked out wallpaper, in a sage , tan and cream stripe pretty neutral. We rearranged everything and I don't know if this was a good idea, its taking quite along time, my husband is
doing all the work himself, he's very handy. My husband has taken some holiday time off and hopefully we'll be able to finish before too much of the new year comes. I want to do shells and Victorian with a touch of
shabby chic, does that make sense? Well I can see it, and these shells would be beautiful in my bathroom

Oh, I just love this adorable sea shell castle, so glittery and the shells and little trees...........................

And these beautiful sugar and creamers, and that pink plate, perfect for a tea party............................

I love the colors on this beautiful bowl, just so yummy...............................................................

This PINK lamp is too much, oh my so lovely it is, alittle over the top too, out of my range, fun to dream though

Isn't this the most gorgeous pink lampshade, I have the most perfect, vintage pole lamp with cherubs on it,
this shade would be so perfect...........................................................................................

This is a huge and I mean huge, Victorian hand painted mirror, it is taller than me, and I want it!
Dreaming again, I don't think I could ever pay this much for something, I get most of my treasures and tag
sales and thrift stores, think I could find one, you just never know? Do we.......................................
So amazingly beautiful isn't it?

This is the most beautiful collection of satin glass, just one piece would be fine, love them all though, I
did find a wonderful blue piece last week at our little thrift downtown, I think I made a great find.............

This pickle Castor and Victorian cut glass to die for ..................................................................

These sweet dollies are asking me to take them home, I especially love the one in pink wouldn't you know

Well, I still have some real shopping to do and tomorrow I have to go out and brave the crowds, yes, I am a

Christmas Shopping

We'll we, my mom, daughter Heidi and I went off the Chico to do some Christmas Shopping. I couldn't help
it but I got a little distracted. I wanted to stop by my favorite antique store and take a quick peek.........

I love this booth, its so wonderful! I thought I'd share it with you, it has so many pretty things to look at....

I love the way this angel makes me feel , so tranquil and peaceful, she has an aurora  of beauty.............

This has all my favorite things so cleverly displayed,an  old floral basket, vintage bottle brush tree, old pieces of sheet music and a most brilliantly polished sea shell, wow! I'll take it all please..................................

Oh, sweet pink snowman, I need you, will you come home with me?................................................

Ornament Swap

I received a package in the mail from Canada, I have been watching on everyones blog about swaps, and
they look like so much fun so I decided to try one....................................................................
She packed everything so nicely and arrived safely all the way from Canada, it had popcorn for packing, I thought that was such a clever idea and my boys had a taste too...................................................

My swap partner is Jennifer Conway and she new exactly what I like! She sent me all kinds of pink and green
vintage ornaments, my favorite colors and I absolutely love these beautiful shiny glass balls and long tapers
they are perfect on my tree............................................................................................

Jen, also made me the wonderful bird magnets that are sealed with bees wax, I love bird, I don't know how she she knew but they look great on my fridge........................................................................

.She also made me this darling glittered reindeer box, so sweet even the inside is glittered in Pink!

Wow, these are so great! I love vintage paper and even some Christmas stamps and stickers..................

Jennifer you really spoiled me, and I love it! Thank you so much, and I can't wait to do another swap it
