Every first Sunday in October for the last 20 years I head to the Red Bluff Street Fair. My friend , Sherri and I head out at day break with our flashlights in hand...
This year...I don't know why? I totally blanked it out and forgot! Early in the afternoon after church my friend said " Do you want to go to the street fair it's today?" Does that tell you how crazy my life has been lately, just too much going on...
We arrived an hour before closing late in the afternoon. Some of the vendors were starting to pack up after a slow day....
I still managed to find a couple of cute things.....but first I'll so you a few of my favorite booths
Lots of fun vintage jewelry...
Oh how I love these Bakelite babies!
So many beautiful baubles...
I just love vintage clothing, hats and shoes....
My daughter would of been in vintage heaven...
This silver teapot was just amazing, I wanted to take it home...
This is my favorite booth...I can never leave without buying something from this sweet lady and her friend...
She has the most amazing things...
I was so sad to leave these wonderful pins behind.....
I made a new friend too. Mary Ann had the neatest Godey fashion prints under glass and trimmed in black velvet. I hope to meet up with her soon...
Just as I was leaving high upon a shelf I spied this wonderful pink vintage hat box. The fun part was everyone was will to make a deal. I think it was almost better going late
I also found this old story book , little crocheted basket and these fun buttons that someone made into magnets....I have to say that was my fastest flea market trip ever, 45 minutes to shop then back home.
It wasn't a lazy Sunday afternoon after all!
