Thanksgiving Swap and Pretties...

Valerie at Queens Chocolates was my Thanksgiving Swap partner. She sent me this cute little altered art dolly and card. Thank you so much Valerie for being such a great swap partner!

Well, I don't know where this year has gone...time has just seemed to pass by so quickly. I can't believe it is already December, Christmas and the end of the year. I would like to put my tree decorations on my beautiful tree. My family all eight of us, my husband, Zachary who was home from UC Merced for holiday, Heidi who is in her second year at Chico State, Savannah who is a Senior and will be graduating this year, Mia a Junior, and my two littlest boys Liam and Ryley Joe traveled to the mountains to cut down our Christmas tree. We packed some turkey sandwiches and had a very fun family outing. We had beautiful weather too. My husband was worried about it snowing, no snow just Sun. We came home with one of our the pretties trees ever....I'll post some pictures

What lovely pictures of such pretty decor!

Very pretty things, always inspiring. (Maybe I'll get inspired to start my Christmas decorating)

I remember Corey's photos of Godmother Mary's home. It is unbelievable! It looks so happy and inviting (and well designed). The women in your family seem to have an excellent eye for decorating and talent for making beautiful things.

Most Lovely!!!
I love Christmas so much
you can never have too many pretties

Hi Denise,
Those are gorgeous photos from your mom's place-I'm always looking for different ideas for using *rose dishes*-the pitcher hanging on the lace is my favorite!

I'm looking forward to seeing your pretties for christmas decorations...

Sorry, I didn't answer you about my fainting couch-it has purpleish velvet fabric that was on it at my grandmother's house for as long as I can remember. I should just embellish it, huh? Maybe someday.
Have a great weekend,
Rene'
