In the Shoppe...

We are still busy trying to fill our little store and getting it to look just like we want....Things have been busy at home, both my little boys are playing baseball and the older girls softball. I enjoy going to watch their games and the weather has been beautiful

I feel so happy as I pass by flowers in my yard, but they are crying out for a little TLC
when I ask?

Yesterday I worked the afternoon at our store....My sister Rene' works in the morning and take the afternoons. I decided to try and make some paper flowers I saw on a blog..

Using this wonderful vintage book, one of my mom's finds I set out with scissors and old sewing pattern
tissue. I'll let you know how they turn out...

Happy Saint Patrick's Day from Pink Pomegranate...My daughter called me last night "Mom are you making corned beef and cabbage?" Yes! "I'll be home tomorrow" Guess what were having for dinner?
Do you make corned beef on Saint Patrick's? It's a tradition at our house, don't forget your green! Pinkie

Fun Spring finds....

I am so glad to see some warm Spring weather....I went out shopping and brought home some pretty little things to add to our shop...

Here is a wonderful bisque figurine with a shell shaped coach....

I found this pretty print and have a frame to put in....

I just can't help but fall in love with this darling little pincushion...

I thought this old photograph made into a pin was very unusual....her name is written on the back

I can never pass up a pretty pink vintage hat...

I bought a bunch of antique little baby dresses....the seller said they belong to this sweet girl in the photo

This is a vintage notepad holder....I love the peacock. I don't think I can ever go shopping with out picking up some vintage jewelry or something in my favorite shade of pink...

Family, Flea Market, and Fun...

This weekend we had our cousins Laurie and Lisa come to visit. Laurie lives near by and Lisa in Yuba City. I have not seen Lisa for almost 25 years! We had such a nice visit...

My sister made Filhos, traditional Portuguese donuts and boy were they good!

Sunday my daughter Heidi and I got up very early because of the time change it was super early...I am not good at morning anyway. We went to a wonderful flea market and I didn't mind getting up early at all it was wonderful...sneak peak at some finds more later

We made it back earlier, Heidi had to get back for her ride to go home for college...
Just in time to put up our new sign...

Yes, were open come visit it you can...

I did each side differently so we could change our decor when needed, there are four in all
