This going to be my last post for awhile...I am off to an adventure in a foreign land. I comitted to a Marie paper doll and tassel doll swap before I knew I was going to Europe. I hope my swap partners like them. I throughly enjoyed a bit of creative time to myself then back to packing Pinkie

This is my living room. When I moved here I had plans to restore it back to the original room layout. There were originally an entrance, library cases, columns, stain glass enclosed cupboards, and large pocket doors. It now has been made into one large open living area, no separate entry, parlor or dining room. I still have a built in buffet and stain glass cupboards and a wonderful plate rail to hold my treasure hunting finds. Enjoy the little trip around my world
I don't know where this summer has gone...so many changes are coming to our home
My son graduate from College and started
a new job. He is living in the Bay area in Mountain View working in a Cancer Research Lab. I went down South to visit my daughters College and set her up for school in the fall in Merced. I cancelled my trip to the ocean as I am travelling with my mom brother and sister to visit our homeland where my Grandparents came from. They are Azorean and we will be visiting there in August for several week.
We are excited but with school starting while I am out of the Country so much preparation. I decided to close. my shop for the summer and hope to return in the fall. We have been visiting family and finding out so much about family history and how exciting the connections we're making. I hope to blog all about it and journal while traveling to the Islands.
