For the Love of Dolls.....

This beautiful wooden Queen Anne was magnificent! I only dream of owning her

I have always loved dolls as long as I remember....

I remember making my first doll dress for an antique given to me when I was nine

Whether china, porcelain, cloth, wood or wax matters not....the expressions and beauty of an old doll can't compare

I have joined a group of talented artist that delight in the preservation and reproduction of antique dolls

I was graciously allowed to photograph these at a doll show with the owners permission

I hope to lend my hand at creating one of these treasures of the past. Do you love Dolls?

My Valentine's Day

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day. I went to dinner with my husband had a wonderful evening, received some beautiful roses and a special surprise arrived in the mail...this gorgeous hand made necklace made by Shari Repogle of

Flea trip to Sac

It was a beautiful day yesterday to take a trip down to the city to the flea market

I found some wonderful dolly things and baby clothes

I love these pink gloves they are super long and perfect used in the package! Bits and bobs of jewelry too

Old Hollywood Glam Event

On my adventure to Silver Bella this year I had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful ladies and talented artist. While at dinner I had the pleasure of meeting three wonderful women, mother, daughter and granddaughter. I also was able to spend time in classes and creating with these delightful women.

I have been invited to create with them again and teach at their incredible Art Event in Fort Worth Texas April 15 and 16. February Day

These are my new found friends...dollys riding home in the passenger seat. I had a wonderful day at the doll show in the Bay area today. I adventured out early this morning by myself to treasure hunt. I was so surprise by the changes though. The internet has really taken a toll on the doll business. I prefer to see my purchase first hand and there is something about unearthing that hidden treasure. I found a few goodies and arrived home to this beautiful sunset...a perfectly wonderful ending to a perfect day!
