My mom Mary loves to iron....
She said it's relaxing.....
Isn't this voile printed dress from the 20's just beautiful...it wasn't so when she found it. She brought it home and laundered and pressed it into sheer perfection
Here are some more of her perfect creations....German cookies. She made these in special molds
which she said is also relaxing and fun to make...
Pretty Valentines heart...
Beautiful Rose and too pretty to eat don't you think?
I think this itty bitty gloved hand is my favorite...
More of her creations on silk...
These she is making for pillow tops...I think this too is my favorite
My mother is truly an artist...If you ask her she will say she's a china painter. I don't think there is any media that she hasn't tried and mastered...This last week she helped me make our shop sign after the
sign guy flaked on us...What do you think?
Hum mm....Pink?
Pomegranate...
Hopefully it's going up tomorrow...Just a few touches left ...Thanks Mom for all your help and encouragement. Couldn't of made it with out you...and will be celebrating our opening this week!
Oh my goodness what a talented mom you have, how fun the sign is perfect! I love her script, that will be a hit in your shop!

All of the women in your family are so extremely gifted and creative. The cookies are too pretty to eat-almost! The sign is better looking than one a professional sign painter could have done.

Your Mom is one of the special ones, my mother was a woman of many talents as well. The cookies are divine. I love voile material it was very popular in the late 1060s.TTFN
