Last evening we went to Chico to visit Nantucket for a special Soirée in honor of our cousin Corey Amaro of Tongue in Cheek. The was a marvelous gathering, lucious goodies and eye candy galore. Corey you were amazing! She spoke and answered questions about living life and blogging and adventures of brocanting in France so glad we were able to attend it was a special treat

I have always wanted to make an Altered
Art Book...mixed media. I had the opportunity to do a swap with my partner Terri Gordon. We were to take a book of our choosing and remake a cloth cover and transform pages with paper, textiles laces and images of Marie. This was one of my most challenging and favorite projects. It pushed me beyond the usual and help me create beyond my comfort zone. I have to say I was very pleased with the outcome. Terri is was my pleasure and pure joy and a labor of love. I am already starting on my next book!

Today was a rainy Saturday....saying inside by the cozy fire sounded so good.
I worked on my Paris Wall Pocket project from the Marie Antoinette group. My partner Melanie sent me a gorgeous box full of pink and cream supplies. Beautiful crocheted doileys laces and trims. I decided to make it a bit larger with several rows of pockets to hold my treasures for creating. I am ready to start on another it was such a great idea Debi Hunstman thanks for hosting. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Surprises in the mail

All the gorgeous goodies are from my partner Lisa Campbell. I did a Easter swap with the sweet Cassandra Vancuren. We were to decorate an egg carton and fill it with vintage goodies and pastel bits. My partner Lisa totally got my style! She sent so many lovely treats. Thank you so much Lisa. Now I need to get busy in mine for my two partners.
